DAY 4 - Apartheid Museum & USA/Slovenia Game

Again, after not enough sleep due to having too much fun with new friends we got up and headed to The Apartheid Museum - which just opened in the past year or two - a reflection on the struggle to end Apartheid in South Africa. If you have read anything about Nelson Mandela, it basically was his life story with much more history and stories of other people. Emotional at times - definitely something you must see if you come to SA.

We then headed to Ellis Park Stadium for the USA/Slovenia game...I don't think I need to say much about it other than it was truly an awesome 45 minutes of soccer. The first half was stupid and if we would have come out and played to begin with we wouldn't have to curse the ref like we all have and/or are still doing...that being said - for Steven's first soccer match - it was a memorable one!

Tomorrow we are off to Cape Town where we will be going to Robben Island (the prison where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were jailed)...more to come
